Our Mission
Wacky Wet World is an online magazine with information on wet outdoor activities and sports, fashion, lifestyle and our popular photo albums.
By bringing together water sport and outdoor fans this site serves as a hub
for a global community of people who enjoy a more interesting style of swimwear.
Our History
Established in October 1996, Wacky Wet World was created by the web designers of
intereliant.com
as a protest against internet censorship.
Rather than showing adult content, they did the opposite and
published some photos of fully clothed people, but soaking wet.
It turned out to be a great success with our readers.
Starting with a single page it soon became the market leader of the wetlook fashion scene
serving over 100,000 unique visitors a month.
A large photo album with thousands of images and frequent updates keeps readers entertained to this day.
In the new millennium swimming in clothes became more popular
and wet clothes became fashionable on the beach and at pool parties.
